Standing tall above the fabled halls of Valhalla, stands a massive Hart named “Eikthyrnir” or “Oak-Thorn”. Grazing from the branches of the great world tree “Yggdrasil”, the majestic creature provides sustenance to the fallen warriors that feast within, through the great droplets of water that fall from his vast antlers, feeding one of the three great springs, “Hvergelmir” from which all rivers rise.

In tribute to the bounty of nature provided by this great stag, we have created a refreshingly tart wheat beer, gently flavoured by bright, sour Chokecherries, and balanced by the complex yet subtle floral and pie spice character of Lavender stems.

In tandem with Virginia grown, craft malted Avalon Pale Malt, and soft red winter Appalachian Wheat from our friends at Riverbend Malt House, it is immensely drinkable, with a nuanced enough character that is delicious, while not being overly fatiguing to your palate.
